Kingsman

Kingsman is more than just an EP. It’s a reflection of transition, of growth, and of stepping fully into who I am meant to be. It tells the story of leaving behind adolescence and walking into adulthood with the weight of lessons, sacrifices, and dreams carried along the way.

For me, Kingsman is a symbol of becoming, a man forged through years of struggle, discipline, and faith. It is not the voice of the young boy people once knew, but of someone who has spent three decades quietly preparing, slowly building, and finally standing ready for whatever comes. If life is a war, this project is my proof that I have trained to be a fighter.

This EP is a turning point in my journey, not just as a musician but as an artist. It holds within it the sound of transformation, blending genres like Reggae, Highlife,

Afrobeats, Amapiano, and Rhythm and Blues. Each track carries a different shade of who I am, showing readiness, versatility, and purpose. The songs themselves tell a bigger story. “Sacrifice” is my prayer, born from the sleepless nights and struggles I’ve given for this dream. “1990” is a reminder of where it all began, my foundation. “Last Dance” urges us to live every moment fully, as if it could be our final one. “Fears” face the doubts and shadows we all fight through, while “What If” asks the question that has fueled me all these years—what if it all works out?

This project is deeply personal. Every lyric, every rhythm, every detail was chosen with intention. It’s more than music, it’s a mirror. I believe anyone who listens will find a part of themselves in it, because these aren’t just my stories. They’re the struggles, hopes, and triumphs of anyone trying to find their place in this world.

Kingsman is the beginning of something greater. It is my offering, my truth, and my reminder that no matter how heavy the journey gets, the soul will always need music.

So, relax. Let the music carry you. Step into this world with me because Kingsman is not just my story, it is ours.

The “Kingsman” cover art is a visual extension of the story behind the EP. Just as the music reflects my journey from adolescence into manhood, the image captures the struggles and weight of becoming a man in today’s world.

It speaks to the experience of many African men between the ages of 25 and 35, living in the tension between who you once were and who you are expected to become. It’s a season marked by overthinking, confusion, and responsibility, where the line between patience and wasting time feels almost impossible to see.

The swirling background pattern reflects that uncertainty. There is a design, but no clear beginning or end just like this stage of life, where nothing feels fully mapped out, yet everything is leading somewhere. Every detail carries meaning. My name, crossed out and projected as a crown, represents the weight of carrying a family and the role of becoming a provider. At the same time, it resembles a captain’s armband, a symbol of leadership, sacrifice, and duty. Together, these images show that Kingsman is not about standing alone, but about carrying others with you.

The choice of monochrome is intentional. It strips away distraction, leaving only strength, unity, and focus. It mirrors the heart of the EP itself, simple but powerful, raw but purposeful, deeply personal yet universal. The Kingsman album cover, like the music, is a declaration of readiness. It says that even in the middle of struggle and uncertainty, there is clarity, power, and a man fully stepping into who he is meant to be.
